Do you collect any series exclusively?

Are there any of you out there that collect only one series or type exclusively, be it seated coinage, bust coinage, specifics like DMPL Morgans? Have any of you sold off your collection of what other coins you had from other series' once you found your niche and put that money into one specific area of numismatics?

I've been putting all my efforts into the circulating (and halfs, dollars) coins since 1997.
I still have many other collections and do occasionally find something for them but I'll
have to trip over it- - I won't go looking for them.

Lincolns are the only series, a circ set and unc set. I'll pull really pretty coins of any denom out of rolls though.

My main passion and collecting are toned Peace $. I'm 4 coins from a complete set and I already have sets II and III as I upgrade. I can't seem to part with any of them, but eventually I'll probably sell off my III set of duplicates. These are the lower MS grades and/or coins with average color, if there is such a thing in regards to Peace $.

If you got any for sale, just PM with pics!

I am also assembling several other Registry and Album sets, but they are merely secondary to the Peace $.

ADHD has prevented me from working on a single series.

I find that coins of one series or another ebb and flow in availability, therefore my interest in building a set (or upgrading it) will ebb and flow along with the environment.

I work on several sets at a time as well as a type set.

I guess, I should have just stayed out of this thread all together. Sorry.

Lincoln rpms and Roosevelt dimes from a to z ( Ty. 1 & 2, knob vs. trumpet tails, fsb's and rpms). Double dies are NOT my interest in either denomination. Been collecting them both for 15+ years and I'm definately no reference point on either denomination. If I can help or chat back and forth to share info that would be great! Doug Yost

I passed on one in PCGS 64BN for $1400. Of coarse, that was a year and a half ago. Too bad I didnt buy it, huh? I'll have to pass... working on the 1909-1929 section right now.

No, I do collect half dimes by date/mint and Indian cents by date/mint, but I'm also a type collector to get one example of each kind of coin issued by the Federal/Confederate government.
