Where does Trugrade rank among the graders?

See ebay item 3037588870 for an example if you've not seen a tru grade holder.

    Somewhere around 3,458th, I'd say.

Right there with ACG. Perhaps even (*gasp*) lower, if such a thing is possible. Both are wretched, but ACG has more "brand recognition". LOL. image

It shouldn't be considered a grader. Think of it as a plastic 2x2 with a hand-written grade on it.

Same old story. Modern coins in crappy, no-name, basement "grading service" holders, quoted at PCGS prices. Sadly, all too typical. Makes the shop-at-home TV folk look saintly in comparison.

I know... let's ask Conder101 where TruGrade ranks! He wrote the book, after all!

All those auctions where the collection is worth "thousands of dollars" starting at a buck might've been a clue. Interesting how they got the "value" from collector's universe.

Bottom feeders - look at the coin and ignore the slab - all it's doing is protecting the coins. Truegrade ranks right down there with ACG and SGS....

Conder101 does not rank the grading companies or how well they grade. He stays away from that since you need to be impartial when you research stuff (or write a book).
