Unusual slab I got in the mail.

The slab has the words "INTERNATIONAL RARE COINS & BULLION" on the front, then MORGAN DOLLAR under the coin. The coin is an 1881 S Morgan, original, very frosty with light orangish gold rim toning on either side. Their are two adhesive seals with MS65 on them on 2 of the edges. The Slab appears to be sealed. IMO, the coin is a MS66, as there are only a very few, very light contact marks. The luster and frostiness are excellent. mdwoods

  • Nice coin. Looks like a private companies holder that they send out when you order a coin. What does the two seals on the side say?

The labels say "International Rare Coins & Bullion INC." in very small letters. Under that is the word "Grade", also in small letters, and then "MS65" in larger letters, underlined.

On closer inspection, I think only the labels keep it from being opened. It doesn't appear to be sealed like a PCGS or NGC slab would be.
I'll give IRC&B credit, they didn't overgrade the coin, and probably undergraded it. IMO. mdwoods
