Hey!! My Frankie set is complete.

Thanks mainly to Mitch, wondercoin. There are a couple fillers, and one upgrade is coming soon. I'll be working on the set for years to come, until every coin is a killer coin. Many already are, Mitch and MS68 are keeping an eye out for those special ones that only come along once in a while.

Number 12 Set

We'll use our hands and hearts and if we must we'll use our heads.

I will have photos of all the coins eventually. Hopefully within a month or so. I only bought a Franklin in the first place because I needed one for my type set. It is the 56 P in my current set of Frankies. The more I looked at it, the more I liked the toning and luster. Later I added the 57 P as an upgrade for my type set but couldn't bear to part with the 56 P. The rest is history.image

I bought the first coin, the 56 P a little over 2 years ago. mdwoods.

Great set MD. Some really tough grades and beautiful coins. Your collection of cs Franklins kind of grew like my proof collection. First, I bought one as a type piece. Soon, one thing lead to another and voila, a complete setimage

Mark: Great set! I'm glad I could help out with it image

Incidently, I slabbed a drop dead gorgeous 57(d) Frankie today in PCGS-MS67FBL. I'll try to bring it with me to Long Beach so you can capture a photo of it.

  • Mitch,

I just slabbed a PCGS MS67FBL 1956-P Frankie with beautiful color and a PCGS MS67FBL 1957-P Frankie with MONSTER color that I will be bringing to Long Beach. Maybe they can get together for a threesome?
