The most amazing high grade Monster toned Morgan I have ever seen or owned

I just aquired this coin and it is the most spectacular toned Morgan I have ever seen. It is a 1879 S PCGS ms68. The colors are VIBRANT ELECTRIC RAINBOWS.

<< <i>Nice coin but I've seen better. Also, reverse toning just can't hang with obverse toning. >>
I respectfully disagree, I prefer the toning over the eagle, just my quirkiness I guess.

I don't think he was saying it's the best coin, just sharing.

Anaconda had a 68 with two rainbow crescents on the obverse for a while, but the color couldn't hold a candle to yours. I've never seen (until now) a 68 with full, rich color on one side.
Wow.

For some reason (maybe it's because Morgans have the strongest collector base & with the internet, when someone sees a nice coin, he / she's kind enough to share its image), I see FAR
more attractively toned Morgans than attractively toned coins of any other series.
The closest thing I have to that is a beautiful white 1884 CC in 6 with a crescent of cobalt blue
toning at around 1 to 2:00 on its reverse.

By the way, Jason.....that there is an exceedingly sweet coin you've got there. For sale? Yeah, just what i thought. No one wants to sell
their best. Well, at least i tried.

That is a stunning coin. I wonder why PCGS didn't mount it with the reverse on front?

What a wonderful coin! I really like the contrast of toning and blast white. It's incredible to see such pristine surfaces on such a large 100+ year old coin. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Here is a coin Dragon asked me to post. Very nice morgan

Was this thread in reality a shameless plug?
Someone had mentioned to me that "plugging" is somewhat frequent in the forum. I didn't think so, but maybe I just haven't been paying attention.
Don't be offended. I'm not trying to play moderator. I was simply admiring your acquisition and then the "sale" stuff came up, reminded of that prior conversation, and then I realized that I WASN'T admiring a collector realizing a special coin, but, more likely a commercial. THAT doesn't take away from the coin's appeal, only my impression that you had accomplished something significant to you as a collector. Bummer.
And no, it is not my intention to try and out anybody regarding their posts. My "shameless plug" comment is said in jest, but, I am a bit disappointed you weren't buying it, showing it, keeping it as an addition to your own collection. But, I understand this is your business, and if I don't stop trying to apologize for each statement I make, I'll never end this post ...
Shameless plug...not in jest
WITH THE GALL TO TTT IT!
actually I am a collector that happens to sell some coins. This coin might stay with me for awhile because not many people can afford or collect this type of coin. Am I happy to own the coin? you bet I am. Am I happy to show a VERY rare high grade Morgan with others that might not have the chance to see such a coin? You bet.
