Cecil Total Copper Nutcase - African, British Ships, Channel Islands!!! 'Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup'
"My friends who see my collection sometimes ask what something costs. I tell them and they are in awe at my stupidity." (Baccaruda, 12/03).I find it hard to believe that he (Trump) rushed to some hotel to meet girls of loose morals, although ours are undoubtedly the best in the world. (Putin 1/17) Gone but not forgotten. IGWT, Speedy, Bear, BigE, HokieFore, John Burns, Russ, TahoeDale, Dahlonega, Astrorat, Stewart Blay, Oldhoopster, Broadstruck, Ricko, Big Moose.
IrishMike makes an interesting point. I agree with him that often Proof IHCs are graded lower than MS for essentually the same quality (same quality is a bit of an oxymoron in this comparison). Certainly based on experience, I have looked at numerous "undergraded" proof Indians.
Mike's point is one that would make an iteresting independent thread?Something like, are the grading services harder on proofs than they are on business strikes? Or, is there a double standard for the grading of proofs?
