PR65 BN. However, this is one of those gotta see to believe coins. The grade really doesn't matter much on a coin like this. mdwoodsimage

Just a touch of carbon on the side of the shield and a couple obverse flecks. PR66BN and I want to see it in person.

Those are tuff coins to grade from scans, proof IHC's tend to be graded lower than ms coins also.

IrishMike makes an interesting point. I agree with him that often Proof IHCs are graded lower than MS for essentually the same quality (same quality is a bit of an oxymoron in this comparison). Certainly based on experience, I have looked at numerous "undergraded" proof Indians.

Mike's point is one that would make an iteresting independent thread?Something like, are the grading services harder on proofs than they are on business strikes? Or, is there a double standard for the grading of proofs?image

Pushkin, the only thing that makes sense to me is that graders look very closely at the mirrors and that weighs heavily into their analysis.
