This is the first ANACS certificate variety used from April 1972 through approximately Sept 76.

Here is one of the earlier ANACS slabs. It is fitting that it contains a gem example of the first Lincoln issued. mdwoods

  • Aweosme sample slab Dog97. I want that slab or one like it! And you said you didn't have anything I would want.

Here is a truly unique NGC prototype slab - the ultimate sig line slab:

    image

And a sample slab that is also unique as only one was made with this pedigree (the same with all the other free dealer submissions on their first time get a pedigree quarter - but each one is still different):

Dog, do you have a scan of the other side of those NGC 1's? I think I may already have it but if you have it handy it would help.

If you don't have scans, do you have grades and serial numbers?

I know this isn't technically a slab, but wanted to get in on the fun. It's a custom "slab", 8" X 14", made by Bill Fivaz. It has the 1858 S8 discovery coins with ANACS certificates 9-9-82 and 4-8-86. Can I consider this a slab prototype??

    Cameraon,

Idhair's second posting is listed in the book as Unknown 1. I don't know what the company was that produced it but for the photo style, language and graders initials I suspect it is somehow related to FCS or INL.
