After saying this the 10th time in two different threads, I have now spelled it out so that even you might be able to understand it more clearly.

I read the auction text. Carefully. That is how i picked up on the no return clause thingy, although i have no idea if your other auctions do offer returns.
I understand you like your coin. I am glad. I hope some bad person doesn't pay you $10,000.00 for it.
sincerely,
z
p.s. no reason to shout, i was just having some fun.
The (cliff notes version of a) legal definition of a "fair deal"...a willling buyer and a willing seller in an open market place. If someone buys it then it IS worth $10,000! Same principal applies to the sale of ANY coin over face or melt value. Extrinsic values are at work in our hobby. Very similar to the value of materpiece paintings...all in the eye of the beholder.
By the way, did any of you that are criticizing me now give Anaconda the same treatment a few months ago when he as "selling" the ACG slab of a 1907 V-Nickel for $1,000,000? No? Then let me dig out for you the cliff notes on "hyprocracy"...
Well I'll end my banter here! At least we know he's (uofa1285) a smarta**!
Again, welcome to the Boards and enjoy your stay! I hope you didn't take any offense, seriously. I think you have the right to sell whatever you want, just as long as you clearly disclose it. I personally wouldn't, but as a lawyer I'm trained to defend the rights' of others.
I still might throw a bid or two on your Peace $. I'd like to see what the folks over @ PCGS have to say about the toning!
And by the way, kissing Adrian's a** will get you far here! (just trying to be entertaining Adrian (IWH) Now where's the pics of the your obviously NT Peace $)
Thanks Michael...I am showing monster morgan on my first thread that I have started...really amazing colors on both sides...I invite you to take a look.
<< <i>Sorry, but you really didn't answer my question -- Why would you sell a coin that you knew to be AT? And how would you know that if you don't know anything about coin doctoring .... he has even admitted to the fact that he would knowingly sell AT coins on Ebay >>
there IS a market for flash-toned coins, & you have no right to deny someone the privilege of selling such. it's like saying "he would knowingly sell a defective beanie baby on ebay". if uofa1285 says "yes, i would sell an a-t coin disclosed as such on ebay", it wouldn't bother me 1 bit.
<< <i>No where in my posts have I called him any names, nor have I branded him a doctor. >>
yes you did frattlaw, by implication from the title of this thread. here's what you said: "We may have a new Ebay Doctor!" & in the 1st sentence right off the top was "there just something not right about a bunch of his coins". sounds exactly like an accusation to any reasonable reader. it is not an objective introduction to your subject. how could someone realistically read the rest of this thread w/out the feeling that you have already commited to an accusation 2 lines into the thread?
<< <i>Its not even a 2K Morgan >>
bige, why are you suddenly appraising someone else's coin? not even in-hand??? that morgan dollar IS worth $10,000 ...... to uofa1285! it's not worth that to me, it's not worth that to you, but regardless, we have no reason to criticize what it's worth to him. if the price is too high, PASS
If the seller discloses that the coin is At'ed I do not think there is an issue. Its up to the buyer to read the auction description.
It’s when the seller (tonedcoin2003) blatantly does not disclose that the coin is AT'ed that fraud is being committed. Doug, I am curious on what the services would say on the peace dollar but also would be willing to toss the dice and buy it. If a seven shows up …..that’s the game.

Speaking of everybody's favorite doctor, I got another eMail from an eBayer about him yesterday. There's now one more that won't be buying his garbage.
It is a very nice toned dollar, as all of the Peace dollars are I have up for auction this week. The only reason I am selling and not submitting to graders is they are not coins I choose to keep in my collection. I bought them on eBay, received them and decided to part with them. I believe that is how many folks choose to collect...
P.S. Bryan...when you going to send me more scans of rolls or rainbows? I liked my last flip of our last deal!

On a lighter note, I am just funnin' around too. Love to jaw and pick.
Doug
...maybe...
Definitively yours,
Doug
Not the most obvious AT job but one that probably wouldn't get by the two biggies.

Which one? (former (coin) customer by the way...love your work!) All of 'em?
