NCS Binions: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

Some interesting newbies I just got.

The GOOD. Except for the X in the field. O Mint from my year.

The BAD. Some down on his luck unlucky gambler used his necklace to place his last bet. See the hole?
image

The UGLY. Everybody thought Binions were high grade toned monsters.

They are all in holder that looks like this:

That hole looks much better in this image than it did in the auction!

Not sure why I'm getting red X. But I've seen them and like them. So these Binions in NCS holders... if they haven't been conserved, are they just no-grades for certain reasons like Anacs put's on their holders?

Dog97.... after all my years of collecting I finally joined local club. This month the theme of the meeting is ....

Bring your "Unusual coins or sets" and share or give a speech. I bet if you were coming they might need a big parking space for a semi-truck huh?image Would you indeed give a speech? Heck if so, I would THINK about flying you out here to do so. It would be educational at the very least. Then of course close down the beer joint afterwards, and I don't even drink!!!

    Dog97, you're over 100 year-old?

"...used his necklace to place his last bet. See the hole?"
Maybe some thugs put a .22 caliber thru his neck-lace, for not paying his debt.

Dog don't fly??? What, don't worry about being in the crate. I heard on the news one airline lets the Dog's fly up in coach. Now that "deer in the headlights look..... kinda like our President when he first started making speeches?
