    i think oreville you sum it up really very well i bet most seem to start as loners and with this internet many loners find it exciting and a learning experience interacting with others

    Very well said. Here is what some of my close numismatic friends do for a living.

    1.Attorney
    2.Corporate underwriter.
    3.Janitor
    4.Walmart manager
    5.Military police officer.
    6.Night manager at Wendy's


    Thats about as diverse as you get. As far as personalities and collecting interests, they have alot in common, whether its at a show or a coin club meeting, the hobby is the great equalizer. I agree 100%.

    ................great leaders... presidents....kings, and noblemen ........loners, not so wealthy, people who pump gas, and ones who just try an pay the bills,....it makes no diffrents what you do, how much money you make, or what station you hold in this like... people who collect are all the same....they are tied , and bound together thru thier love of collecting....be it coins, post cards, stamps, books, whatever........yes, it is truely an equalizer......and a whole lot of fun too..........image
