RARE Standing Liberty Quarter variety on EBay! L@@K!

This is the RARE variety where the date was never printed (as opposed to being worn off). This is the first I've seen of that variety! Why isn't this variety mentioned in J.H. Cline's book?

Rare, unreported SLQ variety

Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I was going to get them. but the no date hole in my Whitman is missing!
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

  • Big deal! I've got one that was minted the year that it changed from BC to AD. Yep, nothing but a zero. They don't list one of those either, so it must be rare. EXTREMELY so, because I only have one, not four.

Yeah, and I have a doubly rotated SLQ which is very rare too! Both the obverse and reverse dies were rotated by exactly 3.14159 degrees!

Actually, since it has a D mintmark, it has to be a 1920-D. It's also a FH. (Flat Head.)
