It's not ugly, but I think a collector of toned coins would look for something with more colors, patterns. I have some "all purple" proof washingtons but I'd rather have true rainbows. cheers, alan mendelson

One man’s or lady’s “monster toning” is another man’s or lady’s tarnish or even corrosion. I don’t care for this coin at all. It looks like it was stored in moist environment, and so far I’m concerned it has gone beyond tarnished to damaged.

I think this proves that no all toning is attractive.

I don't hate it. It is somewhat attractive to me. Dull for a proof, though. I wouldn't call it ugly, and I wouldn't call it gorgeous. I'd call it OK.
