How many rocks of crack cocaine would you have to smoke for this to sound tempting?

Make that no rocks for me. eBay doing maintenance doesn't sound tempting to me at all, and I don't think crack-cocaine would change my mind about that. image
  • Let's keep an eye on this one. If we get a bidder here... well, you know.image

The seller only has 10 negs...........I mean a 96.4% positive feedback rating, right? He/she must be ok, right?

I would say that's a 4 rock auction. After 4 quick rocks, with a partner to egg you on, bidding wouldn't be a problem. image

There aren't enough rocks on the planet to tempt me on this one...

Besides, look at his feedback and check the auctions that he has won lately. He's been buying lots of gold so I suspect that the 'settlement' was actually the wins from ebay that he is trying to dump! image

You watch, I bet some moron will bid on this. I mean jeeez, what kind of crap is this guy trying to pull?
Oh, if the bid goes over 7k, he'll throw in the safe it came in, now that's worthwhile!

I sincerely hope that no one really knows the answer to this thread's question. image

  • I bet there are 49 one ounce gold coins in that "Mystery Box" LOL. I want to see an auction that states "GOLD" in the title and "You will get some gold" in the description. What doofs!!

Hopefully we'll never know because no one will be dumb (or high) enough to bid, but my money is on a number closer to 6, and not necessarily all full ounces!image

  • A bit optimistic are we! Remember he said "more than 5 but less than 50" ounces of gold in this pile of......well.....you know.

So you'll get 6 ounces of AU at $333 per ounce =2K value recieved! Not bad for his opening bid! Does anyone else feel insulted that this seller.....AND eBay.......will allow this type of listing?

Forget the crack. I'd have to be brain dead. image

If I were a crook, I'd like to get names of all the bidders. There aren't that many stupid people around who are willing to blow 6 and a half grand on a pig in a pock.

I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

I just wrote the guy and told him not to be a freaking low life. Disclose the amount of gold in the box or take it off ebay.

I'm grumpy this morning and it really pissed me off. I agree with joejeweler.

I never tried any crack cocaine rocks but it would take a lot of bags of pot to make me bid on that and I pretty stupid without pot.

What is the LD-50 for crack cocaine? I think if I had about twice that much, assuming I was still alive, I'd be feeling so lucky that I had to bid!

Those two "mystery box" auctions should have started at $1 with no reserve! Wonder what they would have gotten for them then?

  • It would take between 5 and 50 crack rocks before I could bid...maybe more......
  • I would think smoking some crack would wake you up and keep you from bidding, now weed, that makes you STUPID!

We know what the "27 ounces" consisted of, now, don't we?
