It's been awhile since I bought from my local coin shop. Found these beautys today. The Morgan is the only one slabbed. It is NGC MS64 with nice textile toning.

    That Morgan got me thinking. I picked up a raw 98-O at a show a week ago. The field behind Liberty was kinda grayish. I didn't give it much thought. I looked at it again last night and it kinda bugged me...looked into the gray area and originally thought I had fat fingered it...but when I looked at it real close I could see a very small patch of little criss crossing dots. I'm guessing a small flap of the bag rested in that portion and it started to tone...unfortunately not into real nice colors.

    The Jefferson is in a 61 proof set still and it was a whole $10.00. Not too bad. The most expensive thing was the Morgan and that was only $59.

    thanks guys, the colors are really that bright too. the reverse has a little color but is nearly black.

    Is the green on the Peace obverse reflection/glare or color on the coin? It looks like pvc contamination. If its on the coin try soaking it in acetone (do it outdoors to avoid inhaling the fumes and don't smoke!) or 97% isopropyl alcohol (safer not as effective a solvent) to see if it dissolves off the coin.

    Nah, that green look is bad lighting. The coins obv is silver with gold hues. No green at all.
