I'm surprised that the Gallery Mint would make something like this. It has no grounding in reality since no known 1804 was double struck like this. It's a darn shame that they have stooped to this.

  • Those guys would have had to be drunk to put the coin in the hand press twice. And think about it. The second time off centered! image

It's a good thing this guy has a 100% feedback rating. Otherwise, no telling how much more deceptive he would be.

This is my favorite line...If real, this piece would be about $2,000,000 or more! !! Really!! You mean IF it were real? Then since the original coin is worth millions, surely this nice COPY must be worth some multiple of the original...right??

A double struck FAKE 1804 huh? I wonder what my kids Crayon rendition of the Mona Lisa (double drawn)would be worth to this guy who loves Fakes so much?

Hey I kinda like this myself. I've heard you can strike the coin you want to buy yourself there. Maybe that's how this happened.
Now if I get a chance to go there, I'll strike one off center far enough to get past the word copy, but still have the date show. That'll stir up some real excitement.

Hey, MrEureka, this coin will match that awesome coin bottle you won. That's pretty cool looking.
