If You Had a Raw Morgan That You Felt Was an MS69

If you had a raw common date Morgan dollar that you thought was a lock MS69, what are the odds that PCGS would 69 it in todays market? I'm thinking slim to none from what I've heard from others lately.

Then, just from what I'm hearing, I think the chance of getting the deserved 69 would be less than 50%. Probably 25%. It might need to be sent in surrounded by top-quality gem pieces. Or, like jbsteven said, you'd need Wayne or Jack to send it in.
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
I don't understand why everyone feels otherwise. To meet the technical merits of a 69, it could theoretically (for today's standard) get a 70 -- that is, providing you've based this "lock 69" on technical merits. In my mind anyway.

.................if you happen to have one, it would have to be a truly outstanding coin. something that stands out above all the others... marks, luster, strike, etc. etc. i would sumit it, and see what they think......however i would not get to excited if i were you, as your chances of receiving such a grade are very slim.......
Any police officers out there?
<< <i>you would be lucky to get a 68, 69 out of the question unless Wayne or Jack submitted it. IMO >>
I was told by a good friend of Jack's that Jack doesn't think he gets any special treatment on grades from PCGS. Then in the same breath, I was told of a '93-S that Jack bought thinking it was a MS66, HRH, at a show put in a nice shiny MS67 holder for free!!
Looking for Nationals, Large VF to AU type, 1928 Gold, and WWII Emergency notes. Also a few nice Buffalo Nickels and Morgan Dollars.
