i think there was some kind of error in the grading too. that huge gash across tommy's face is as distracting as it gets. ms64 technical at most, but i wouldn't get it at any grade.

I don't know who he is and I don't have a problem with him. As stated previously, I purchased 6 coins in the last week from fairtraderz...........Ken

This does not belong in a public forum that is about US coins. Please PM the seller and ask your questions as I have found them to be prompt in their answers and upfront in their offerings.

I may not know Jeffs, but the reverse of this one does not look at all MS to me. I seem to detect more than just bag marks - or am I too picky?

While I don't know about that coin in particular (seems strange to me, too), I bought a very nice proof War nickel from Fairtraderz a while back, and was pleased. (PCGS PR67, and PQ to my way of thinking).

Another PCGS coin I bought from them (PCGS MS66 1936 Walker) was a knockout white beauty. PQ again. So both of my transactions were good. I paid strong prices but got strong coins.

(I cannot figure out what's goin' on with that Jeff, though. Must be an error of some sort in the listing.)

Thanks Russ, I didn't see the actual holder (lousy dial-up), I wonder if the steps are hidden by the glare or if they even really exist (Hmmmm, should I be worried about MY SEGS slabs?).
