Conder101: Have you noticed there are two type of NTC slabs?

The slab of the left has a small label and the coin slab number is lower. I got it awhile ago. Now, about one month ago the nTC slabs started having the full size insert and new writing style on the back for the website. Searching ebay has mostly the new slab label type. I wonder in years to come if this will be a "old holder" NTC slab.

There is nothing wrong with buying any type or company slab for a slab collection - even old ACG slabs. I am not reselling it, and I paid a whole whoping $4 from a dealers junk box.

Actually there are three types. You have shown pictures of the second and third varieties. The third variety came along too late to get into the book. The first type, NTC 1, is the same as NTC 2 but it does not have a barcode. Did you also note the other big difference between NTC 2 and NTC 3? Look at the bottom right corner of the front of the slab.
