We are finite beings, limited in all our powers, and, hence, our conclusions are not only relative, but they should ever be held subject to correction. Positive assurance is unattainable. The dogmatist is the only one who claims to possess absolute certainty.
Lucille- You simply must make up your mind. Just the other day you were "strongly" defending MNMCOINS' prices. Now, you want to hold him up for public ridicule due to his opening bid. Which is it?
dcamfranklinLewis, go back to your cage please. I ain't holding up anyone, especially mnm to public ridicule. I was strongly defending his and others being able to post registry quality coins for sale, course you wouldn't care because very few if anybody would trust you in a deal. I honestly cant imagine any board member here trusting you with a high dollar coin.......
mnm has had some super deals in the past, and he took it on the chin on a wonderful 1950 cam Frankie..... this Roosie is high. And its very doubtful as to a ms67 brilliant Roosie getting a boost to a 68, as from what I know, no brilliants have ever graded a 68 by pcgs.

The coin is basically a 68, but PCGS won't grade brilliant 68s. Ask a roosie collector and they'll tell you a 68 gets well into 4 figures. I have sold other brilliant 56d roosies in the $300-$350 range privately and the buyers were happy to get the coins. Notice the buyer on the last 56d DHRC is...yep me. The coin is extremely tough in white 67 (the pop is 40something with probably 30-38 of them being ugly mint set toned and in 67.9 basically a rare coin. Typical 54d, 55d, and 56d are all ugly proof like grey coins, this coin is a monster silver white color with exceptional luster, definitely not your typical coin.
Besides, I would rather list the price too high and take an offer on the coin off of ebay (which I usually double my sales that way...but most of you probably haven't thought of that), after $200 or something start it is the same price. That way you save the commission fee which on a $500 coin can be around $15.
Nothing against Lucy, she is a class act and looks like she was curious as to why it was so high..,rather than just condemning the price, but I wish others would stop and try to use their brain before jumping on people just because they don't understand what is going on. I think this forum would be a much better place if that kind of crap didn't go on.

Lucy: Your vintage coupe there is going to be a double classic by the time -- if we all live that long, God willing -- PCGS gets any raw coins back to you in slabs ...
