Prooflike means something different in Canadian coinage. It's somewhere in between business strikes (MS) and Specimens (SP) or Proofs (PR).
Since 1949 (?) for Silver dollars, and 1953 for other decimal coins, the Canadian Mint has produced "prooflike" sets for collectors. The first sets were in cardboard holders, later sets were in pliofilm (plastic). The quality is better than business strikes, but are not prepared on specially polished dies and prepared planchets like the the Specimens or Proofs.
I think it's something roughly equivalent to the SMS coins.

ProofLike 66. The RCM makes lots of ultra-burnished coins from business dies.
Cool coin! Did you send it in on a US order, or all by itself?
