The 1926-s usually comes poorly struck. This is no exception, plus the scan doesn't help. MS64? Not likely, but this is a coin that needs to tbe seen in person to make that determination.

It is a soft strike, but without seeing the coin in hand I don't think it is fair to say it is not a 64. It could have very nice luster, and I don't see any dings that stand out. The seller claims the wheat stalks are sharp, which would be unusual for this date/mint. The coin would have to have a clean reverse and nice luster to be a 64 in my eyes. mdwoods

The strike is extremely soft and its definitley a low end brown. You can find a nice brown 26-s in a better looking 63 or 4 anyday.
The true rarity is the "red" but you can still find a nice red/brown that looks 100x better than this piece.
