Question about pcgs submission

I'm about to make my first submission to pcgs and was reading that they recomend that you send it registered mail. Are they strict about this or is it ok to send it in certified mail?

REGISTERED mail is your safest bet as it is always under lock and key and postal workers have to sign for it.......

  • You can send it in many ways. I have sent in via priority mail sevreal times. You take the risk, and I think Registered is still the best.

You can send it any way you want, but registered is highly recommended. I had two submissions not make it there and
one was very expensive. Thankfully it was insured by the USPS who is the employer of the thief that stole it. image

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

Certified mail is only for items with no value.

If you send it registered, you have to use paper tape on all of the edges. I usually send insured priority mail if the value is less than $800, otherwise registered is cheaper.
