ARE STATE QUARTER SPOONS THE NEXT BOOM?

I have noticed that a few State Quarter Spoons have been selling in the $125.00 to $200.00 Range.
The Early spoons are still available from US Mint @ $7.95 each and can be returned with-in 30 days. Is this a good opportunity?
PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK? GOOD DEAL OR BAD DEAL?

  • THEY HAVE BEEN SELLING ON Ebay Auctions. GO TO E-BAY Auctions and look up Quarter spoons and you will see them right now. They have been going up for about a month now.

it sounds like the First Day Covers. some were selling on Ebay for $200-$300 while others sat at the mint unsold, which tells me that it's all speculators. then the bottom dropped out when the mint "found" some more expensive ones and sold them.

speculators can't sustain demand. so you have to ask yourself, how many people would really like to have a collection of SQ spoons?
