Hey your doing good, I just went 1 for 10 on cross over, and made a bunch of worthless late date Jeffersons in 64 or 64fs.

Find a way to not get annoyed at waiting for over 60 days for it to be finished by them.

Submit to NGC instead of PCGS and expand what I'm collecting to PCGS AND NGC coins.... no, wait, I'm already doing that.

Get any Brown lincolns in that submission (PQ 64 or better)?

    Best wishes,
    David

    What's the submission number Morris?

  • That's the nice thing about the NGC Registry.........it's open to both grading services coins! (now if they would only accept Anacs). Saves all the crossover attempts and disappointments. (and MONEY!)

Looking for worthless late date Jefferson's in 64 and 64FS, let me know I still need a few dates.

    Hey Morris:

I feel your pain. I know EXACTLY how you feel. And they get to keep the fees regardless whether you're making a profit or not.

Yes, they've noticeably tightened their grading standards over the past 12-18 months. IMO, many of the high grade coins, including "pop tops", graded in several years ago wouldn't grade as high today if
resubmitted raw. I contend that PCGS could raise grades by a single point on most of the coins graded
in the past year (especially modern coins) and VERY FEW buyers would complain. This single point
upgrade makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE in worthiness of the endeavor.

All I can say ( and you know this) is to keep trying and hope your submissions are NET WINNERS.

    Regards. Cupronik

    My eBay Items

I love Ike dollars and all other dollar series !!!

I also love Major Circulation Strike Type Sets, clad Washingtons ('65 to '98) and key date coins !!!!!

If ignorance is bliss, shouldn't we have more happy people ??
  • Im not complaining. I had a economy in for two months just came back yesterday. I had two AH Kennedy proofs, one of which came back 67CAM and the other a vanilla 65. I had three morgans, two got a one point upgrade and the other got a body bag. Had two other proofs both of which got as expected. All in all I am coming out to the good. image
