How about Dave Bower's book on silver dollars. He gives the history and has some different theories about which coins are "originals" and which ones are "restrikes."

KK: Excellent advice from everyone. These coins are phenomenal and very historic. I highly recommend them. I am still trying to save for one. They are not cheap. Just think of a huge flying eagle cent and the price to go along with it.
