...to meet at the National? and Why?
(1) Must be someone you have never met in person.
(2) May or may not have transacted business or email with.
I'll start.
Crazysc...I've never seen him on SAH, but I appreciate the candor in his posts.

Thanks for the update on your son last week. Sounds like things could get interesting real soon.

A PSA sponsored get together would solve the old "Do I know you?"...questions on the show floor. Although those are fun too.
See you all there.

For as many cards as Frank and I have sent back and forth, we've just never crossed paths.

If any are interested, I may be willing to give tours of collection(over 20,00 psa graded vintage cards, over 100 sets on registry) if interested. Mentioned this offhand to one board member last week and he thought it would be great. If fly from Newark, I am 25 minutes awaw, 90 minutes from Philly.

Folks, the National is worth the trip alone just for visiting other collectors. I hope all members can make to Atlantic City and meet as a large group.
Gee, Dude, is there anyone you DON'T want to meet?
Oh, wait, I think I know the answer to that (assuming he is still on these boards).
Mike
I forgot to mention "pc" and "Redskinsfan" and I'm sure I'll think of more. The last two mentioned are greats guys and definitely high on the "Must Meet List".
I guess I'm the Will Rogers of the CU Registry: "I never met a Registry Member I didn't like."
I hope that both of you can make it to this years national and many more. I think about both of you every day and hope that you are doing well. I have noticed that both of you continue to add to your sets and have not given up your passion. You are both an inspiration to us all.
ON ITS WAY TO NEWPORT BEACH, CA 92658
I would be very interested in seeing your collection! That is a very nice offer.
Everyone,
I've been trying to narrow down my list of who I would like to meet and there are just so many. There are a lot of great folks on this board.

heck, I'd like to meet just about everyone. Is someone going to organize a night out - perhaps reserve a room in a steakhouse and get like 30 of us there. We could all wear name tags with our user-ID's on them That would be cool.
I guess the people I'd most like to meet are (in no particular order):

Frank Bakka (again, thanks for your help with my '70 set)
Jay Wolt - Quality Cards - Cavalcade of Sports (great help with the '70 set, hopefully the '65s soon )

Keith Abrams (Thanks for the top notch cards and excellent customer service!)
Joe Tauriello - Set Builders (Again, great cards and great service)
'69 Topps Baseball Collectors (Stump, Dude, RayBShotz - sorry if I forgot anyone else)
Anyone collecting the '60 Topps Baseball set - I don't know anyone by name yet
I'm now looking forward to my trip to NJ in July (I never thought I'd hear myself say that!)
I hope to see you ALL there!
JEB.
I cannot wait to me all of you.
Don't forget the Official Kellogg's Krap shoot to be held at at a TBD Kasino. All K Klub guys and anyone who'll state that the 70K's are a vintage set are welcome.

BJ said last year that PSA would try to host some type of get together for the registry people. I intend to fulfill my promise of last year, when I was not able to make it, and buy a round for everyone on the board. (Multiple ID's get just one drink!)
Look forward to seeing you all there.
Rob
All of the above mentioned and beyond the mentioned list would be a pleasure to meet even to just say hello. From reading and watching the way everyone works here on collecting and all,I have to say collectively your all the biggest influences on me in regard to the hobby.
BTW- is anyone going to CT's biggest show at UNH College 4/5 or 4/6? SGC is the big grading company that will be there,I'm sure there will be a few HOFERS there for signings and some ok raw cards but not many.

<< <i>Is someone going to organize a night out >>
Which made me remember that someone from PSA, perhaps BJ stated several months ago that they would have a meeting room w/ refreshments for registry members. This would be a great idea, we could wear name tags of our ID's and have the entire group of mixed nuts in one area ...jay

Always looking for 1957 Topps BB in PSA 9!
For volunteering to measure my cards prior to submission. I would like to buy him a drink (or two).
Unfortunately I will not make it to the National this year (unless I find a job real soon), but in true Dodger spirit, "Wait till next year".
E-mail me at jdc122@aol.com and we will try to set up a time. Zardoz may come at that time too and perhaps there will be others that would like to see the collection.
Davalillo
I'll do it - I feel like I've gotten an invite to the White House from the President. Thanks!
Wayne
And I'd like to meet Helionaut. How cool would that be? On second thought, nevermind. We'd both be looking for the same stuff.
2005 Origins Old Judge Brown #/20 and Black 1/1s, 2000 Ultimate Victory Gold #/25
2004 UD Legends Bake McBride autos & parallels, and 1974 Topps #601 PSA 9
Rare Grady Sizemore parallels, printing plates, autographs
Nothing on ebay
Keith Abrahms (although I have meet him many times, I enjoy seeing and speaking to him every time and he is such a good dealer that I would never miss a chance to meet him)
Steve Hart (bbcexchange, great inventory, nice on the phone, but have never met)
Peter Lalos (similar comments as I have said re Keith Abrahms)
Virtual Lizard (such a stange name, and to make sure there are no hard feelings over the 70 Topps set)
Chris Klinger, another 70 Topps collector
Steve Peckovich, to see if I can figure out how he finds so many nice ungraded cards so I do not have to buy so many cards from him
Frank Bakka
Daniel Chang (one of the first dealers I met after returning to the US after having been an expat for 6 years), who helped me figure out later on (through comparitive experience) the difference between good and honorable dealers and those who are not.
If I have missed anyone for now, I apologize in advance
I may have your answer on Steve. I had the pleasure of meeting him at the Chicago show last weekend. We met at Setbuilders table. He was looking through some 58's as I was going thru 69's. I left after some humorous conversation and about two hours later he was still sitting there. Now maybe he left and came back but I think just old fashioned hard work is his formula.
Dave
Now, I certainly don't mean to imply that this is something Chris doesn't already know. . .but occasionally I'm amazed at how much some people underestimate the value (and reward) of putting in the work and finding cards to submit yourself.

As for the stuff I pulled at the show. . .we'll see if PSA agrees
