WAYNE HERNDON's Da Bomb! - Guess the Grade

I just returned from the Atlanta show where I had the pleasure of meeting member FatMan (who's not fat - and is a very nice guy), ran into my pal Dahlonega (more about David and Al later) and met Wayne Herndon. If any of you have never had the pleasure of meeting Wayne, he's a great guy - makes you feel at ease right away, and set me up with a very nice deal on the dollar below. It was a pleasure doing business with Wayne and I would highly recommend him - check out the dollar below - and if you want to play guess the grade I'll post it later.

Let me second that Wayne is a great guy.

Bought a couple of olympic unc commems from Wayne that I needed to fill out my registry set. He was very easy going and we were able to quickly agree on reasonable prices. I spent a lot of time looking at a very nice Pilgrim that was fairly priced. If I wasn't going to Charlotte next week, I would have made the purchase but that would have used up most of my funds alotted to next week.

I didn't get to spend as much time as I would have liked because my wife hijacked my trip to Marietta by forcing me to take her to her brother's house who lived nearby the show.

Board member Atcbob made it to show as well but he had already left by the time I arrived.

Oh ya....... very pretty morgan. I guess MS64

Frank, Enjoyed meeting you as well.

Well, I still like the coin after saying MS65 shot at 66. Its a great addition to any Morgan collection.

  • I agree with ursabear, it looks PL, not so sure about 66 though!
You can fool man but you can't fool God! He knows why you do what you do!
  • I also met Wayne today at the show (but missed the other members there). Wayne was a real nice guy--gave a kid who came up to his booth a free certified coin.
  • I personally saw that coin up front and close today! What a great coin! As far as the show I met Dahlonega and Wayne, and I'll ditto the sentiment about Wayne. I made an earlier post about my trip to the show, ya'll should read it. It's under, "I just got back from the Atlanta Show",

    Great people!image
