My new toned dime

The obverse is a light blue around the rim with a light pink center and the rev is a darker blue around the rim and a light red in the center, Sorry about how blurry the rev. pic is but it's the only one that captured the colors correctly. This coin came from Brian (wingedliberty) Thanks for the coin it's a beaut.

Yeah it's a pain to get light colors to show up, darker toned coins arn't to bad but its the light pastels that give me a problem, here is a little bit clearer picture of the rev.

I am really glad you like it. I love the reverse scan even more. I enjoy corrupting young collectors
    with pastel toning.

That 58 has some character despite the reverse fingerprint.

Nice dime, MB. Brian sent me a nice 1980 proof nickel out of the goodness of his numismatic heart, that would go nicely with that.
I would like to thank him. When I get the camera up and running later I will try to post a picture to this thread. Nice coin. Brian's a good guy.

You sure did I used to stay away from lightly toned coins but now that i have one in my collection it feels kinda lonely so i'm sure i'll have to add a few more to make it feel at home. They also provide a great photography challange to anyone looking one. It's a great feeling when you finally get a decent pic. of it and i think i did ok with that last one.
