Is there a way to get a copy of the ANA monthly mag. w/o joining?

There's an upcoming article on the CU 9-11 coins, written by one of our members, that I'd like to have. I don't really want to join to read one article. I'd like to buy one copy. Any ideas?

You used to could subscribe without becoming a member (libraries often do this). I don't know for sure but I suspect they sell single copies and back issues. Someone with an old copy could look in there and see. I don't have a prior copy around or I'd check for you. I'll try to think and look when the next issue comes but if it is not soon, it will likely slip my mind.

Try contacting ANA about either a single copy, or a reprint of the article you are interested in.

Or . . . . . check your local public library. If they don't subscribe, they can probably locate a copy for inter-library loan.

I wondered why you are wanting the Numismatist but not wishing to join the ANA. Is your question related to ecconomics or philosophy? If not the latter, then there are other advantages to being a member that are worth considering.

As luck would have it, my current issue arrived today. I don't see anything in there about a subscription without membership or obtaining single issues. I still suspect, one or the other is likely but it may take a call to the ANA.
