Help with eagles again, please

I lost the thread (and can't find it in a search) asking about what the eagles on US Coins symbolize, especially what the branches they hold mean.

If you could post a website with the answer, I'd really appreciate it!

    Thank you John! I should have put eagle in the title image... it didn't pick up "eagle's" in my search for ealge image
