PCGS and a lost Registered package...

On February 21, the PCGS sumission status website showed that they sent me their usual registered, insured coin package. Not having received it by this week, I called PCGS customer service and was in fact advised that the coin left on 2/21 - they also gave me the Registered number.
I then went to the USPS website and keyed in the number and there it was, signed in at the laguna Beach post office on 2/21 - no follow-on activity though...
So, what happens next? Do I put the trace on the package or does PCGS. And, when can that trace be started?
Thanks for the info...

True but registered mail is segregated and always under lock and key. There is direct responsibility. Hence very secure. The incidence of theft is tiny, unlike regular mail blazened with Supreme Rare Coin Galleries as the return address.
