Nice looking coin; it will now get much more respect and it's value may have doubled even though it's the same coin. Congrats: you looked beyond the slab.

I have owned this coin for about four years and I just kept forgetting to send it in. Four years ago I think it would have been a high grade 62 but these days it makes the 63 grade very nicely. mike
littlewicher, No this was not one of those old holders but I do have one in the old holder with the coins picture on it they graded it ms64 but in reality it's mint state with several hairlines from cleaning that would get a body bag at PCGS or NGC. mike
Way to go Mike. Glad to see you are smart enough to look for nice eye appeal and long review of the coin. Some close-minded individuals would have walked right on by that coin and missed the very nice profit you are sure to make on the coin.
This has nothing to do with any service. The fact is darktone knows how to grade Liberty gold coins. Who the hell cares what slab it was in? At least someone is bothering to look at the coin instead of the slab. Good job, darktone!
