Goodbye...for now...

Well, I just wanted to throw in a few words and say goodbye. I have been called up by the military and I will be leaving tomorrow morning. I will be gone for 1 - 2 years. That is my range of deployment stated on my orders.

I just wanted to say I received a great amount of info on all of the numismatic topics from all levels of experience in this forum and it has been a great help to my collection (hoard). Thank you everyone and I hope to being posting when I may have time before I leave the U.S. If not, maybe when I get back whenever that will be.

Also, if anyone is able to get the Santa Barbara News Press (NewsPress online might have it), I was interviewed among other military personnel in the area and it should be printed tomorrow (07 MARCH 03). I haven't seen a rough draft of it but who knows, maybe it will be good....then again maybe not. If that is the case, I won't be here, so any protesters will not find me. image

    Matt- I've enjoyed your contributions here. I look forward to your posts in a year or two. Please don't be put off by the protesters. Most probably mean well, though they know not what they do.     New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
