What are the Most Blatant, Obvious In-You-Face Doctored Coins You've Seen?

I've seen a couple of artifical frosted Morgans that were not done well. I've also seen one that was. It fooled me.
On another ocassion Greg and I saw a Ten Dollar Liberty (at the last Long Beach) that had been plated and then artifically frosted. It was in a PCI Proof holder (and, I think about a $30,000.00 price tag!).
I've seen a tooled 3-legged that even had the roughness on the Buffalo duplicated along with the planchet characteristics running down between the Buffalo on the reverse. (What saved this coin from being holdered was the etching that had also been preformed to make it an "AU").
My "favorites" are Large cents that have had their dates tooled into rare coins. These were mostly done in the sixties.
-What are some of the doctored coins you've come across? What were the telltale signs?
Do you own a doctored coin?

A recent eBay purchase of a commercial strike Indian Head cent. The eBay image had been significantly "enhanced" and the coin looks nothing like the image. Not only is it AT, but worse, it is very poor AT, really a disgustingly UGLY,
I don't know if the seller was aware that it is AT - I informed him once I received the coin. He does sell a lot of toned coins, but not many copper/bronze coins. Be very, very suspicious of toned, commercial strike Indian Head cents!, unless you know the seller, or unless you're buying them from me, of course.
telltale sign? uh, the solder.

Where they torn limb from limb?

<< <i>i've seen a couple of massachusettes shillings that were broken in half & soldered back together. >>
My understanding is that when the United States adopted a decimal monitary system, the various former New England colonies-issued money was revalued to the rate of $3.33 to the pound. That would make the shilling the equivalent of approximately 16 cents (actually 6 shillings to the dollar). Newspapers often sold for 1 cent, so somebody probably wanted the newsboy to deliver the paper for only a fortnight (14 cents) plus the standard 2 cents tip. So, it's obvious that somebody broke your schilling in half to pay the newsboy, then decided after the two weeks that he really wanted the newspaper delivered for a month. So, the newsboy gets 2 X 1/2 shillings. Later, worried that this act of desecration may cause him trouble, the newsboy soldered the shilling pieces back together! The logic is so clear, so simple!

What about YOUR icon? Eh? I can clearly see AT around the eyes, on the lips and cheek.... can't be too sure about the hair, it's hard to judge from a picture.
And, on top of that... I'll bet it gets dipped and retoned daily!
