  • And I quote, "It is worn SLIGHTLY on the top back of head." This guy apartantly knows nothing about coins. It is a sad sad world when people grade coins based on the grading scale at the PCGS website, and pickout a MS-65 when the true grade should be at max a VG. Correct me if I am wrong, but a even a VG is supposed to have almost full leaves on his head. I hope some unintelligent collector doesn't get lured into this trap.

This guy obviously doesn't have the faintest idea what's he's doing. His first selling experience, but take a look at what he buys.

if i became the president of the usa

the first thing i would do is eliminate coin selling on ebay with a law or whatever i had to do

as for me i think that ebay may have some positive coin selling but i think overall it is more negative than positive

    sincerely michael

Don't anybody send him any emails insulting his intellegence because my intentions are not to flame him. I don't post auctions to bash sellers or their items but I found this one REALLY unusual and just couldn't keep it to myself. imageimage

The contrast of the reverse on that barber half almost looks like a worn CAM... I think he was being very conservativeimage.

Dog, I don't think I can comment from the image, it wouldn't be fair to the seller.

He says he's open to offers. Offer him $5 - probably the best offer he can get.

And since he only takes serious offers, make sure you tell him your serious.

  • I've decided that eBay is good for shopping and for laughing at auctions like these. It's generally not for buying or selling. That is, unless I
know the seller or am reasonably sure that the coin is a good value. Most of the time I've paid too much because I ended up
bidding with buyers who knew less than I did. Well, at least I know a PR/MS (what, you don't know the difference?) 65 from a G-4.

As for buying-Michael, you'd be proud of me: no coins purchased since early January! I can't promise coin sobriety on Friday, though.image
