I like the colors very much. Attractive, without being overwhelming. Something interesting that keeps the eye happy for a while as it looks the coin over.
I picked it up at a show about 6 months ago as I was cruising the 2x2 binders for color. I bought it for the reverse which actually has pretty nice lustre and I love golden to light brown toning on nickel. It is a sickness. I thought the obverse coloring was a little odd but sort of nice but I still don't know if I really like it or not. You get it in the right light and the colors are yellow and blue with a tinting of reddish purple in areas. It is kind of different anyway. I would almost call the obverse an EF-48.5 and the reverse a nice 50 becaue of the lustre but, as Cameron pointed out, it is weakly struck, also. Thanks for the opinions.
