  • Not mine but I still think it is a neat little buffalo:

I like buffalos and the cut out in my icon is mine:

I don't have a lot of stories about them except that a nice 1921-S in VG with a date you don't have to guess at is tougher than you might think. image

  • Stujoe, I have an extra 21-S in VG-10. It's raw, but that was the opinion grade Randy Campbell gave me at a coin show, if you're interested. The date is clear, but the horn only has the very bottom.

  • nice pictures jom, the 16-D is really purdy
  • image it's a nice 1916-D XF/AU full horn but as you can see it has a small problem. Still it's not a bad coin considering i pulled it out of a box of bufflos marked 2 for $1.00

Oddly enough, that is the only one I no longer own. It is in the capable hands of our own Caitlin now. image

Also, IMO, the 36-D is really nicest of the bunch but you can't really tell from my lame picture.

  • LanLord, I think you got ripped off. Your buffalo is missing a leg. image

BTW: If anyone wants to see the diagnostics of a real 3-Legger, that one shows the reverse ones pretty well.

  • Here's my contribution. Its a 1938-D MS66. Excuse the angle on the images, I was trying to capture just how much luster this coin has. image

  • jom,
nice set of buffs there and sharply struck too

Are these all slabbed? and the 37-P is that a proof? That's
    the nicest I've ever seen

Just want to reinterate: These coins are Caitlin's NOT mine. Caitlin asked me to post them and use my server for the pics.

I'm pretty sure the 37 is a proof (brilliant). The 14-P is a 67 and I think the 36-D is a 68....not sure exactly. Maybe Caitlin will chime it!

  • Woah...not sure how I missed this thread.

Here are some of mine. These are scans and not pictures, so you don't really see much luster or color...the color you do see is much brighter in person (especially on the 13D, the 16S, and the 20P)
