This auction listing states that the coin was cleaned long ago, but the picture shows it as being fingerprinted much more recently! Would you bid on this guys auctions after seeing the pics? I'm not interested, just a curiosity factor.

Seems to be being completely honest about it, and he has a nice return policy. If I liked Morgans, and I liked that coin, I might bid.

That bothers me how she holds the coins in her hand. Just think how many coins she has "infected" with fingerprints.

I don't see a definite fingerprint. I see loads of streaking from the cleaning (it was wiped), but the only things I see that might be fingerprints are a small spot just in front of her eye (as if she's looking at it), and another almost directly acrss from it, behind the cap. And then the ones that haven't formed yet from her holding it this way

I don't see fingerprints. I think the lines on the face and fields behind the head are from the cleaning. No, I wouldn't bid on a damaged coin like that. Since that is a better date I as a collector would get a problem free coin. I would rather have a certified FINE which can be bought for around $100.

I think they were talking about the prints the coin was getting on the reverse about the time the picture was being taken.
