POLL: Small Show vs Major Show

Would you rather attend a small show or a major show? Some of the responses that I read from my Baltimore/Long Beach etc poll has me a bit curious.

Are you talking about Baltimore?

Sigh. I agree!

Is it the number of dealers?
Number of attendees?
The largest I've been to is the Santa Clara show which usually has about 70 or so dealers - is that large or small?
That's a good question, one I'm also interested in. The largest I've been to was also about 70 tables. Most around here, though, are 15 to 20 tables. We have one coming up in April that's supposed to be 100 tables. Would that be considered large? Medium?

The stuff I look for, I seldom find at the smaller shows.
Fewer than 40 tables - small
41-79 tables - medium
80+ tables - large
Given a choice, I would prefer a large show. Greater chance of seeing something I've never seen before and greater chance of getting to meet up with some board members.
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

I'm with you on this one Russ.
<< <i>My non-scientific categories are:

80-250 - large
250+ - major (FUN, Long Beach, Baltimore)
