Colorful Kennedies!

Since about 1982 I've been collecting every colorfully toned Kennedy I could find. I began in earnest when I had one Dealer tell me, "Kennedies don't tone pretty".

I've been lucky to obtain, over the years, about 40 true GEMS. It is one set (mostly all 1964) I don't sell to support buying other coins in other series.

Here's a couple of them-
Kennedy Nice DCAM next to one (both PCGS) that has the smoothest GOLD tone. The toning almost matches the old 'yellow' insert.

kennedy SMS with a partial ring of RED/GREEN and Purple

Kennedy Morgan color on a Kennedy half!

kennedy Pure Rainbow with ALL colors (wish the photo didn't show some of it as brown. The 'brown' is RED and Orange.

    Nice Braddick! I too see very few beautifully toned Kennedy half dollars.

    I'm with Pat on this one. I just started collecting them and I got about 5 or 6 that are really nice colorful coins. Also I found a 71-D clad with rainbow toning that's just amazing.

    These two are my favorite though

    Nice! I have a nicely rainbow toned clad Kennedy proof but I've never been able to capture the colors well. Maybe I'll send it to you on approval sometime. image

    There are so many cool Kennedies on this thread. This is pretty neat end-roll toned piece I recently picked up. I'm new to posting, so if it is better to post a link rather than the picture to minimize the time it takes for the pages to load, please let me know.
