  • I thought that guy was looking at another one of your beauties also. the person that took the picture must have just missed me drooling over that coin. See how he is using his index finger? he just realized what the small bit of moisture was..........image

  • I would think both parites would be more excited about it.

It was only a CAM. Had it been a DCAM then you would have seen the dealers dancing.

You know that that was my coin ? and I never actually saw it in person. How about an Adrian Picture of it since the Heritage picture did it no "justice".

It looks like trick photography. The buyer and seller look similar. Are you portraying the buyer and seller??? Zerbe
  • Hey Zerbe. So, your coin, eh? Very cool. (Was the Flowing Hair Dollar in NGC MS 65 yours too?) I didn't get photos of the coin. It was indeed a phenominal piece. The fellow bought it, i'm sure as a potential upgrade piece.

Lake - you're too hard on me, but then again I guess i should have been more specific - the photo was actually taken before the deal was
done. He was still considering it.

P.S. I was not portraying both me and the buyer. The buyer is thin. I'm.....not thin.
  • Oh, hey Lake - did you get that Flying Eagle Cent pattern (the large copper turkey lookin' thing) in the January Heritage sale?

I tried to buy it and bid strong money but someone else won it.

(jbs - you're crackin' me up with that drool thang)

Adrian, the flowing hair was not mine. The reason that I owned that PR67 cam 1895 but actually never saw it in person, has to do with that fellow I had the problem with a while back, who lives in TX. I heard that the coin was pretty nice. image

I am sure he is actually holding a rare MS66 state quarter....that explains the drooling and excitement.

If he is that may explain the fact why he looks like he fell asleep.

Napping on a dealers case - that's REALLY a bad idea - Never saw Laura mention that as a no-no. image
