1954 10c NGC-MS66 Monster blues and golds $11

1959 10c NGC-66W (A nice coin for my white blazer set). $11

1960 10c ANACS PF-65 OBV HVY CAM. Very nice for the grade. These are tough! $17

1985-S 10c NGC-PF69UCAM $10

Nice fun with a $100.00

After looking at thousands of Mercs, I have never seen colors like that on a 41.
    Thanks Wayne Herndon.

That's true. And a nice price. The roosies are good, too. I have a couple like that. I slabbed 2 but left the others raw. I've seen quite a few colorful ones.

Nick Cascio (onlyroosies) had alot of them up on Ebay this weekend. Most had monster toning.
I think he has the most formidable toned Roosie collection on the planet.

Nick has the HIGHEST GRADED roosie set on the planet, by far, but he does not have the most colorful set, by far.

Watch greattoning on ebay. He's about to offer a number of exquisitely toned pieces, all colors. (not a paid political advertisement)

  • Normally I'm a Merc guy. I bought my first Liberty Seated dime today. The color is much more vibrant "live" than the pic, but I'll post it anyway:

The 20D is awesome, so is the seated. Did you guys read in CW and NN, about that monster doubled
die reverse discovery with 180 degree rotation. I think it was an 1871 or a 72? What a discovery.

Thanks for the great compliment Brian, I really do appreciate it. I'm glad you scored a few this weekend. I'm just clearing out some
of my extras to raise those "Battle Bucks" so I can compete with wondercoin.

Bill (rainbowroosie), I give credit where credit is due. I have had the pleasure to view Bills Roosie set and I must agree he has
the prettiest Roosie set I have ever seen. Bar none.image Colorfulcoin is an awful close second though.

P.S. One thing though Bill, Who has the NGC MS69* Roosie....image

Another fairly cool 41P Merc. The reverse matches the obverse.

Nice coins folks. That Seated Dime is "Killer".

Great toning and full bands. I have to thank Wayne Herndon. The 41 Philly is very tough with great
toning. Its nice to get one for my collection.
Put up some seated when you get a chance. Lets not forget the other dimes.

I love bust dimes. The only challenge is trying to afford them in unc. I have a few AU pieces.
They are in my safe deposit box. How about some nice Bust 10c scans.

Well, I wish I had the capability to post some of my dimes, but if I did, I'd be posting all white coins because I like my coins after they have bathed! image But even with my preferences, I have to say that there have been some truly pretty coins posted.

Thought I'll try posting to Merc weekend image too!

Here's a 19-D I just recently acquired, the following description is true to the letter, its super!

...subdued obverse luster moves serenely beneath deep pearlescent toning; the reverse is intensely lustrous with rich golden iridescence. The strike is ahrp, and come OH-SO-CLOSE to FSB sharpness.

Yup.. now I'm in heaven too image

P.S. Scans do no justice, I've a long way to perfect taking picturesimage

    Brian,

Its a 19-D alright, the slab as I mentioned in one of these threads, is scratched and scrawny, I reshot it the D is clear from this angle. I must reholder it quickly!!!
