I bought it slabbed at a local show. I needed a 1994 for the registry set and was not going to pay the $250+ they were going for so I got this real cheap to fill the hole in my set.

Do you mean that there were other 69's around but you chose this coin and low balled because of spots?

What temp for how long?
PCGS seemed to knock my white spotted SAE down 2+ full points.
