I'm not sure of the design, but the idea was to have a pin you could wear at coin shows to identify you as a CU Board member. mdwoods

I think they are for identification AT THE SHOW(S), hence, if you are not going to be there, you probably don't need one.

Don't get me wrong; I won't be at either of the mentioned shows and want one too, but, I think the rationale for producing them, and giving them at a show, is to issue them as needed.

Keep checking eBay. They'll be listed there starting the Monday after the show ends.

I go to plenty of shows in a given year...just not the ones mentioned. Would it not be a wise idea to offer them at a price through the mail to those who cannot attend the appointed shows? I would wear one with my company shirt (coppercoins) every time I went to a show - but I'm not about to travel 1,500 miles to get one.

Any chance you might make it to Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Kansas City, St. Louis, Memphis, Des Moines, Springfield, Il., Springfield, Mo., Wichita, Sedalia, Little Rock, Paducah, Topeka, Joplin, or Pittsburgh, Ks.? Notice the theme? Nowhere close to the left or right coasts.

I echo coppercoins' comments. I'd like to get one through the mail since I don't get to the big shows. For example, I was at a show today in Cleveland where I talked to six other board members. That's six members at one 100-table show. If we had our pins, we might have met some other board members I didn't know!

PCGS won't likely slab them unless there is a major tragedy at the show and many lives are lost. However, I'm sure some thinking forum member(s) will grab a handful and put them on eBay.

Lee, I was about to say,"Bring your camera" but then I just remembered that's a huge no no on the bourse floor at that show.
