What stories will you tell your Grandchildren?

This day in age is a great time to be in the hobby, I think I will make sure I know the complete 1933 Double Eage story, and pass that one on.
There are many other stories, such as the State Quarters and the Sacagawea start...
What are you going to pass along?

I will tell them that their pocket change was once "valuable"

Yes, the old coins that used to be in circulation are gone and will never be back. It's
no consolation to most people but the coins in circulation now are much older than
they were back when I started in 1960.
...And no one has bothered to pull out all the good ones as they had by 1960.
...Sounds like a story for the grandkids.

"Grandpa? We know what 'coin' means and what a 'forum' is, but what is a 'PCGS'??"

" Once upon a time, there used to be coins that weren't cleaned or dipped"
" Once upon a time, the government tried to circulate these silly looking gold colored coins called Sac dollars."
I wish there was an emote selection for "tounge in cheek"
Once upon a time, telephones were in one place in the house and you had to sit next to them to talk and it was a BIG DEAL when the phone rang, because it might be BIG NEWS of GREAT IMPORT and you had to STOP WHAT YOU WERE DOING and ANSWER. Interruptions were important. I sort of remember it like that.
Oh - plus: my aunt had one of those old TVs in the big Radio cabinet with the tiny tiny square screen and if more than one person watched you had to (literally) sit arm-in-arm.
"The silver is mine and the gold is mine,' declares the LORD GOD Almighty."
A friend's daughter went to her and asked "Momma is it true when you were little, you didn't have an icemaker and had to fill metal trays with water and carry them to the freezer?"
