I'm sure that "thing" looks pretty nice when it's up close and the size of, say, a quarter, but man o man that looks amazing when it takes up a third of my 17 inch monitor.
I'm not flaming anyone i'm just curious why everytime someone posts a beautiful coin one of the first questions is what's the grade and what tomb it is in. Why can't we just look at a beautiful coin and enjoy if for what it is not a few numbers on a peice of plastic.
P.S. that is some great toning for a SLQ i'm having a hard time finding a SLQ with nice toning most of them are dark and nasty but this coin shows me that my search isn't a total waste of time i guess there are a few out there yet.
PPS my only complaint about this thread is the title is so small it's hard to click on when your shaking because you know it's another anaconda beaut. behind the link
Blade: Nice Merc. I'll venture a bet that coin was once in a PCGS 67 holder....there was a hoard of those 39-D's that came out about 5-6 years ago (I think Tom B has one) that all had that toning. Nice coins....what was Pinnicle asking?
