P.S. Do you think she has a real job like the rest of us?

No doubt she would be in her element driving down the road in her 1956 2dr Chevy 283 with a Hurst shifter and a trunk full of Full Bell Frankies!

Actually, it has a fuel injected 405 525 dynoed hp small block. A very trick setup, it has one injector per cyclinder, the fuel system had to be re-disgned to provided a return line back to the gas tank with a high volume electric fuel pump. I cannot stand trying to tune carburators, so injection was the only way to go. On my 67 Bug, its a pain having to switch main jets and air corrector jets depending on what altitude I am running at. Also, since I have dual 48 IDA Webers both have to be in sync, meaning both flowing the same amount of fuel and air. A big pain in the behind, I alwys needed to buy a a exhaust anaylizer to help in tuning the carbs but I never did. Fuel injection is where its at Daddy-o, the 56 is now controlled by a computer......

<< <i>Lucy is certainly a great addition here; and only 2700 posts in only 6 months. She has a great variety of interests including certain series of coins. If I'm not mistaken, she probably wasn't in kindergarten by the time the fifties ended. It's great that she keeps a fun era alive. The cars are UNBELIEVABLE. Not many girls would know what you mean when you say you have "trips" on your engine; but this is one quick chick!
As discovered here, just a couple of days ago- Lucy's got the best job of all!
