Cool coin no doubt. For me, the premium is a bit hefty.

ditto, 10X sheet is a little extravagent, even with the nice color.

however, get it reholdered as a 67 and it's only 2 1/5 times sheet image

Its a beauty. But a little pricey. It will be interesting to see if it sells.

OK, I think I officially hate Anaconda. image

That coin is stunning. I lost out on it when Heritage auctioned it off in GA Signature Sale in August of 2001 (Lot 8572).

This coin realized $1840 then. image I'd gladly pay that now or much more.

I was told this coin was offered for sale recently by Shepard (?) for $8000 and I thought that was too much considering its recent history.

Anaconda's photo looks much better than the Heritage one. I'd be pissed if I was the Heritage consignor.

Pretty colors, and I like the Pilgrims, too. (I'm a descendant of Wm. Bradford, the dude on the coin.)

However, the toning is a bit mottled for my taste. I know, I know, that's the way it usually comes, but I don't care for mottled toning.
