the title of this thread reminds me of a few select dealers during the last of the gsa mint selloff auctions of stuff in the late 70's to mid 80's who bought up for mere peanuts cartons and crates of excess 50-55 mint proof set boxes, crates of 50 year old box set tissue wrappings, millions of the excess cellos for 50-early 53 then the late 53/early 54 cellos and the late 54/early 55 polybags along with the mints actual machinery, brown box wrapping tape and the 53-55 tab style brown sealing tape and plioform material to uhhh "make" uhhhh "mint sealed" boxed proof sets repackage with actual authentic excess mint supplies by the trucks full not to mention the envelopes, coa's and corrogated 55,6,7 slits along with the hard card late 57 to 64 protectors. hell, there have been as many sealed early proof sets on ebay in the last 5 years than they ever even minted. the only true deals come in the mint's wrapped pkgs to the actual buyers with the postage metering and all still in tact and on 56-64 in the still mint sealed boxes and packs of 2,5,10,25,50,100,250 & 500 piece bulk deals. this is a numismatic freedom of speech reporting item that will be in full exposure over the next year or so. some/most will probably do fed time for fraud. others will hire high class lawyers to get em off easy. film at 11 on this one. i being a cameo dealer for 27 yrs am totally sick of it and the total scam it represents and cant wait to see it bust wide open on the guilty few mass producers involved..
The only fraud I ever saw was from a lowlife dealer in ole Miss. that doesn't offer a return policy on a $1,500.00 coin. that he probably bid on himself under another user id. Seems he has 5 or 6.
