Interesting COTD or Russ has a good eye

I bought a raw dime from Russ that caught his eye. I guess after looking through all those '64 proof sets you get experienced. Anyway I sent it to NGC as my first NGC submission. I sent it to them because they attribute varieties. This is now the highest graded pointed 9 dime. There is one in 68 UC and 4 in lower Cameo grades.

mbbiker: let me put it this way. It cost more in grading and shipping fees than the winning bid. But it has crossed the country at least twice!

Actually, I'm not that surpised, though. Even some my stuff from PCGS has lately been coming back graded higher than I thought it would.
